Hall Scholarship for Communication Disorders Students

The William F. Hall Scholarship is awarded annually to a rising senior in the communication disorders program who shows excellent academic achievement and professional promise. The scholarship is made possible through the generous donations of alumni. When contributions to the Truman Development Fund are made, they can be ear-marked for communication disorders general use, or a specific scholarship (Hall or Sparks).

For 2006, the Hall Scholarship was awarded to Elizabeth Gates. Congratulations Elizabeth!

Dr. William F. Hall founded and chaired the communication disorders department from 1960 to 1981. During this time, the master's degree program was established and originally accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
