How to Find Us

The Truman State University Speech and Hearing Clinic as well as the Communication Disorders program and faculty offices are located on campus in Barnett Hall.

Barnett Hall (#32 on the Campus Map) is located on South Franklin St., across from Red Barn Park and the university football stadium. It sits on a slight hill with a large (one-way) circular drive in front. There is parking in both the front and the rear, however Reserved parking for clinic clients is found only in specially marked spaces behind the building. Clients must obtain a special parking hang tag from the clinic secretary upon arrival. Handicapped parking is also available in the back, near an accessible building entrance.

Coming in from the parking lot behind Barnett, you will find the Speech and Hearing Clinic just inside on the left (121 Barnett Hall). Some faculty offices are within the clinic as well. In the main ground floor atrium of Barnett there is a unisex handicapped bathroom with a diaper changing table.

The elevator to the second floor is located near the front entrance of the building (Franklin Street or East side). More faculty offices, the program office (Barnett 222), and classrooms are located upstairs.
