The CMDS program at Truman was happy to welcome Dr. Merlin Taylor fall, 2009.
Dr. Taylor has extensive clinical experience with children and adults in a wide
variety of medical and educational settings around the country. His special interests include
language development, autism, and neurogenics.
Dr. Taylor received his B.A. degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland and both his master's and doctorate from the University of Memphis. Dr. Taylor was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Childhood Deafness (CCD), Boys Town National Research Hospital. He is a former recipient of the prestigious Kala Singh Memorial Scholarship from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation.
