Cochran received the Honors of the Association. This award recognizes “exceptional and extraordinary contributions to the field of speech, language and hearing,” and is the highest honor that the Association can give.

Previous honorees affiliated with Communication Disorders at Truman State University include: Dr. Kenneth McGuire (1992), Dr. William McClelland (1993), and Dr. John Applegate (2004).

A scrapbook of notes, letters, and photos of colleagues, students, and alumni was presented to Cochran to mark the occasion. Many thanks to those of you who contributed!
