Diagnostics Room
The diagnostics room is the largest therapy room in the clinic. This room is
used for most speech and language evaluations, as well as some group therapy.
The room has floor-to-ceiling 2-way mirrors, permitting observation by student
clinicians and family members. Diagnostics are planned, completed, and evaluated
by seniors and graduate clinicians and an ASHA certified faculty member.
Therapy Rooms
There are 7 therapy rooms where therapy is normally conducted in the clinic.
They are located in the long hallway past the front desk. Each one has a large
and small table and set of chairs, a full length two-way mirror on one wall for
observation, and a video camera for taping and remote observation.
Audiology Suite
The audiology suite is where hearing evaluations are conducted. A sound proof
booth, audiometer, and impedance audiometers are available in this room right
off the waiting room. ABR equipment is being used to screen children in the
Early Head Start Program.
