What attracted you to Truman?
The friendly nature of the people here, small class sizes, and the beautiful campus.

What do you like best about Truman?
I like the way everyone here is so friendly, and I like the feeling when I walk on campus and feel that this is just the right place for me to be!

What has surprised you about Truman?
Though Truman is a small school, there is always something to do on campus.

What do you like most about your classes?
I like the way most of my classes are discussion based and that my opinion on matters is heard.

What do you feel is unique about Truman?
Truman is like one Big Family, and that’s what makes it so unique and the people so special.

How would you describe life at Truman to a friend?
Truman is a fun place to be in; however it’s not an easy school. You learn a lot while you are here, and life at Truman is just one great experience.

Have you participated in undergraduate research?
I am currently doing undergraduate research with a faculty member. We are researching on computer applications that can be used to treat communication disorders.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation I plan to go to graduate school and get my master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.

What do you do for fun in Kirksville?
For fun, I go to Thousand Hills State Park when the weather is good, hang out with friends, and sometimes go to parties on the weekends.
